Together as one family
To all parents and carers,
This is our latest update on the situation we are in at the moment. Things will undoubtedly change after the latest press conference by the government this evening.
In line with the advice currently:
Several of our staff fall into the ‘vulnerable’ bracket and are or shortly will be working from home. We currently have enough staff in school to stay open but this can change at very short notice. Information will come out via the school text system so please ensure your mobile number is up to date and you are receiving texts, (one was sent out this morning about some events being cancelled. If you didn’t receive this, phone the office to update your number with us.)
We will respect your decision to self-isolate. We want everyone to stay safe. We ask that you let us know that this is the case so that we know where all our children are.
Over the coming days we will start signposting you to work that is available for you to do at home via Dojo or Tapestry. If you are not signed up to one of these systems, let us know via email (office@st-josephs-cockermouth.cumbria.sch.uk)
If you need anything, please get in touch. If you are self-isolating and your child has left something important at school, we will help if we can.
Stay safe!
Andrea Worthington
