St. Joseph's attended the Annual Cockermouth School Football Tournament - Although very windy and cold, St. Joseph's had an excellent time, winning 3 out of 4 games and drawing the other. Amazingly, we only let one goal in throughout the whole tournament. Due to our steadfast defence, we ended up winning the competition. Well done St. Joseph's Football Team.

Touch Rugby Festival - St. Josephs recently took part in Cockermouth's biggest Rugby tournament. Our girls team did amazingly well, coming 3rd overall. Our boys were in a very tough group and despite having a much younger team still managed to win a few games. Both teams showed fantastic sportsmanship and represented the school in a fantastic manner. Also a big thankyou to Scott and Luke who came and helped look after our children.
Dave from Skip2BeFit has came into school three times this year and both the children and staff have enjoyed his inspirational programme of physical activity, and we all look forward to having him back at St. Joseph's next year.
